Since only about 30% of the Lodge is deemed educational space, about 70% of the project funding must come from non-tax-deductible gifts. Therefore, we strongly encourage donors to consider making gifts to the Alpha Xi Alumni Association which are not tax deductible to the donor.

The IRS allows only exclusively educational space (about 30% of the Lodge) to be funded with tax-deductible gifts. Such gifts must be made to the Alpha Xi Dedicated Fund at the Chi Psi Educational Trust.
Note that Educational Trust gifts qualify under many Corporate Matching Gift Programs.
