On November 9, Alpha Xi alumni gathered at Castle Point for our annual meeting, joined by others online via Google Meet. The agenda included exciting updates: the successful reinstatement of our tax-exempt status after a two-year effort, scholarship award announcements, campaign milestones, and finalized Lodge renovation plans. We also welcomed two new board members—Nick Zubrycki (Ξ ’17) as Member at Large and Zack Horton (Ξ ’24) as Secretary—while recognizing the dedicated service of Gaby Khoury (Ξ ’15) and Alex Barresi (Ξ ’16).

Renovations at the Lodge have been well underway since January, following a careful contractor selection process. While budget adjustments required scaling back some elements, essential upgrades—like electrical and fire safety systems, heating improvements, and the addition of air conditioning—remain on track. Undergraduates are temporarily housed across the street, and the capital campaign, The Home of Our Affection, has raised over $1.3 million toward our $1.5 million goal. With the total project cost exceeding $2 million, continued alumni support remains vital.

Even during the transition, undergraduates have stayed active—hosting creative recruitment and philanthropic events and building stronger ties with Stevens administrators. While no new member class was added in the fall, a promising group is expected to join this spring. Thank you to everyone who has contributed—your support is shaping Alpha Xi’s future.
